Xray - Chat Insights ("we", "our", or "us") is a chat analysis application that provides AI-powered insights into your conversations. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Xray, we may collect the following information:

• Account Information: Your name and email address when you sign in with Google or Apple.
• Chat Data: The chat text or conversation screenshots you submit for analysis, only after you give explicit in-app consent. This data is processed in real time by our server and OpenAI and is not stored after the analysis is complete.
• Analysis Results: The insights, scores, and suggestions generated for you (not the original chat content) are stored in your account so you can revisit them, until you delete them or your account.
• Purchase Data: In-app purchase and credit balance information, managed through RevenueCat and the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Device Information: Basic device and platform information for app functionality and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your account and provide access to the app.
• To analyze chat text using AI (OpenAI) and return insights to you.
• To manage your subscription and unlock premium features.
• To improve the app experience and fix issues.

3. Data Storage and Retention

We do not store the content of your chats or your screenshots. They are processed in real time and discarded. What we do store: your account information (name, email), your credit balance and purchase records, and the analysis results generated for you. Analysis results remain until you delete them (Settings → Clear All Data) or delete your account (Settings → Delete Account), which removes all server-side data immediately.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI: To generate AI-powered analysis of your chats. Chat text and conversation screenshots are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI processes data in accordance with their privacy policy and does not use data submitted via API to train their models. Please review OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: To manage in-app purchases. Please review RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: For authentication.

All third-party service providers we work with are required to handle your data with the same or equivalent level of protection as described in this Privacy Policy.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens (JWT), and minimal data retention to protect your information.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Export your analysis history from the app settings.
• Clear all analysis history from both your device and our servers using the "Clear All Data" option in settings.
• Delete your account and all associated server data (including analysis history, credits, and personal information) directly from the app settings using the "Delete Account" option.

7. Children's Privacy

Xray is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email.
